Picote mAXI-Miller

OVER $12,000

We couldn’t do it.  There was no way we could spend upwards of $12,000.00 on a Picote milling machine; we bought a work van, medium size jetter and a couple of pieces of Flexshaft instead.

Picote Maxi weighs over 275lbs, the same amount of Flexshaft weighs less than 60lbs. It takes two people to use a Picote and only one to use a length of Flexshaft.

Flex Shaft and a drill works great.  You can add the same heads you use on the picote.

It is affordable, light to carry around, easy to use, and I don’t feel bad if I break it.

Cordless Drill and 25' of Flex Shaft

What is Flex Shaft?

Flex Shaft

Are flexible shafts that use high speeds instead of torque.

High RPMs allow for the effective use of expanding chains to Roto- Scrub the inside of pipes.

Flex Shaft is the next evolution in drain cleaning.

Less = more

Buying individual lengths of flexshaft is a smart hack.

$1,500 to $5,500

We spent over $5,000.00 for a Point Repair Packer, 100 feet of push rods and a patch.  This gave us the ability to patch a two foot section of pipe.

Our first job had a bend which required an Elbow Packer, $1,800.00 packer plus $350.00 for patch kit.

Our second job we needed to patch a three foot section which meant we had to buy a Four Foot Packer and patch, $2,200.00 packer plus $650.00 for patch kit.

We were told that high prices a barrier to business and will keep our competition away.

We began to wonder if our competition was smarter.

$25 TO $250

After two years of spending close to $10,000.00 on packers and patches we started to realize that paying $350.00 to $650.00 for a patch kit was a barrier to making a profit.

Our first job with a Caltube point repair packer was a 4″ floor sink pipe.  $50.00 packer plus $50.00 patch kit.

Our second job we needed to patch a three inch stack at Hope College and it would have cost us another $1,000.00. $15.00 packer and $50.00 for patch kit.

Once we overcame the barrier to profit and started making our own point repair packers and patches we started to make money.

We became smarter by learning some buying hacks.

Clog Squad Academy will show you the most cost effective ways to do the job right. Getting a Pipe Patch into a line doesn't have to cost an arm and leg, it can be done for a lot less.

What is a Caltube Packer?

Caltube Packers

Caltube for lining can be used as packers for pipe patching.

Point Repair

Use fiberglass or felt the choice is yours. Cutting a liner to length is simple and quick.

Choose what ever resin is best for the job.

Push Rods

Expensive pushrods are not necessary, use pex, PVC, radiator hose or what every works.

Heated Packer

Heated packers can cost upwards of $5,000.00. Turn your caltube packer into one for no extra cost.

Less = more

Spending less on tools and materials is a sure way to earn more money.
